Overview
Fall Forward is an innovative startup studio, collaborating with entrepreneurs to co-create and develop businesses in expansive markets. We concentrate on addressing significant challenges by building cutting-edge SaaS and mobile products and services, creating groundbreaking solutions for today′s dynamic industries. We are seeking a Product Designer with proven UI & UX skills and experience, and expert-level knowledge of Figma. You will help us to rapidly create innovative, intuitive, and user-friendly SaaS and mobile products and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of user-centered design principles and be able to translate those principles into beautiful and functional designs. You should enjoy the fast pace and scrappy nature of working on early-stage startups that are building prototypes and minimum viable products (MVPs) to help identify product-market fit. You should also be comfortable using your experience to make progress with incomplete information. We are open to contractor or freelance engagements now, with full-time opportunities in the future.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with teammates to understand the problem we are solving, user needs, and pain points.
- Create wireframes, high-fidelity prototypes, and design guidelines.
- Design user interfaces and interactions that are intuitive, efficient, and engaging.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to bring designs to life.
- Contribute your expertise of mobile and web application best practices to guide the team to implementations that feel intuitive to end-users.
- Work independently to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in product design.
- Bachelor′s degree in design or a related field.
- Expertise with Figma and other design tools.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles.
- Portfolio demonstrating your expertise.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and within small teams.
- Thrive in a fast paced, startup environment and when working on a variety of projects.
